Job Description – Route Driver Part-Time


MONCO Enterprises, a provider of services to the developmental disabled, is looking to hire a part-time Route Driver to work 25 hours per week. Duties include transporting confidential information from customer sites to employer facilities.


Job Duties:


Driving a company owned vehicle, while transporting confidential material from customer sites.


Loading and unloading a truck through a variety of mechanisms.


Using computer tracking and logging functions.


Route planning to meet customer demands.


Scheduling activity cycles.


Inspecting and maintaining vehicles for safety and routine maintenance.


Minimum Requirements:


Must be at least 18 years of age; hold a valid Ohio driver’s license, verification of a good driving record and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.


Ability to follow verbal directions.


Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.


Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills. Applicant must not have any recent moving or driving citations on their driving record.


3+ years of route driving experience.


Proven experience with successful customer service.


Ability to communicate verbally with customers in a professional manner.


Ability to adhere to and enforce security policies and procedures of MONCO Enterprises, Inc.


Able to lift materials and equipment for a maximum of 75 lbs.


Must be computer proficient and pay attention to detail.


Forklift training a plus.

Job Description-Employment Trainer – Full-Time


MONCO Enterprises, a provider of services to the developmental disabled, is looking to hire a full-time Employment Trainer. Duties include assisting adults with developmental disabilities with identifying appropriate and satisfying employment, locating and securing employment, and providing the necessary support to maintain or improve their employment opportunities


Job Duties and Responsibilities: (include, but not limited to)


Provides both on and off site support, coordination, and connections to employment resources for individuals.


Observes and evaluates individuals’ performance, behavior, social development,and physical well-being on and off the worksite.


Assists and coaches individuals through the employer’s new hire and orientation process, facility and work site orientations, and provides on-going monitoring and support, in regards to performance, safety, responsibilities, etc.


Analyzes jobs and work environments and breaks jobs down into trainable steps.


Helps build natural supports within the work site and relationships with co-workers.


Promotes and coaches individuals to perform work responsibilities that foster independence.


Promotes a positive work attitude, proper grooming, acceptable work attire, and generally accepted work conduct by serving as a role model.


Serves as a liaison between the individual and the employer to facilitate an appropriate worker to supervisor relationship.


Attends and participates in team meetings, providing feedback on employment outcomes and opportunities.


Completes and maintains necessary documentation, assessments, and evaluations related to employment

outcomes.


Maintains a professional appearance and positive demeanor as a community contact and organizational representative.


Demonstrates proficient written and verbal skills for effective communication.


Transports individuals as necessary to accommodate employment opportunities.


Ability to function independently with supervision of individuals with a variety of disabilities.


Must be capable of assisting individuals in situations requiring assistance with daily personal needs.

Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and automobile insurance.

Ability to establish positive relationships with peers and the community.


Ability to work independently on-site and in the community.


Willingness to travel to assigned locations and throughout the community.


Must be friendly, personable, caring, and creative.


Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs.


Must be able to maintain confidentialinformation.


Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:


Must have the physical ability to frequently stand, climb stairs, lift up to 50 lbs., twist, bend, squat, stoop, and reach.


Must be able to frequently walk and drive within the community in conditions including heat, cold, and inclement weather.


Must be able to pass a required DOT physical examination, including hearing, vision, and drug screenings
